First off I wanna tell you about my beautiful daughter. Her name is Emily and she turned 4 in middle of June. She is absolutely in love with elephants. We took her to the circus last October and she was in elephant heaven. As we were leaving the circus we bought her her first elephant. Since then anything remotely elephant she loves and wants. Her collection is small right now but is growing slowly but surely. She has around 20 elephants right now. For her birthday party she chose to have an elephant party and for Halloween she wants to be an elephant. Which leads me to how I ran across your page. I am trying to make my daughter an elephant costume but the one she wants is the girl elephant that wears a tutu. I have the basic ideas on what we want to do but maybe you can help us since you are such an elephant lover yourself. I want her to be original and cute so we would like to make it ourselves versus buying it. ( can't find the tutu one in kids ) I however don't want it to be too homemade looking either. If you could and have the time to help us we would greatly appreciate it ! One idea that I have that she absolutely loves is to make a trunk that we can put a whistle like horn in to make elephant noises with and I was considering using the accordion like tubes you find in hardware stores for this. Any ideas or improvements would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for your time!

At last I know I'm not the only one. I got a pink teddy bear when I was 2 years old. Pink bear and I have been inseperable since then - much to my husband's dismay. I have always considered Pink Bear to be a boy - but for some reason, Kara insists Pink Bear is a girl. Like she's been his best friend for the last 35 years - please.

Why not offer them as a lot to the fellow who owns 6,000 elephants. If he is over 30, he might offer you a few thousand dolloars for them as a lot.

Sorry bout the record. I say you use the stuff you want to use, display the stuff you like to look at, and sell or donate the stuff that doesn't mean as much to you. May have to go slowly when it comes to using stuff. Dip your foot in the pool before you dive in. Good luck!

To let go can be liberating but the question you have to answer is does that sound exciting or terrifying?

OMG! I don't think I would ever have that kind of patience. When I buy something I have to use/ wear it immediately....instant gratification. So Kudos to you!
